Roaring Camp Railroads Harvest Fair

It's harvest--1880s style at Roaring Camp's annual Harvest Fair, October 8 and 9. Weavers, spinners, and candlemakers demonstrate the skills and crafts of a simpler time.

Try your hand at gold panning or candlemaking! Plus, you can see the award-winning scarecrows that are on display, and make your own scarecrow at special stations around the depot ($7).

While visiting, you can also carve a pumpkin. Every child with a train ticket may choose a pumpkin from Roaring Camp's mountaintop pumpkin patch.

Steam trains depart at 11:00am, 12:30pm, and 2:00pm. Tickets are $18 (adults) and $12 (children).
