Bonfante Gardens Bird Show
Bonfante Gardens Family Theme Park offers guests a birds eye view of exotic and entertaining birds with Wild Wings, a family-friendly show now playing daily through Labor Day.
From Macaws and Baksian Cockatoos to an Andean Condor and Eurasian Eagle Owl, Wild Wings features twenty different birds from around the world on stage in the park’s Lakeside Amphitheater. The 30-minute performance includes a singing Yellow Naped Amazon, an owl that soars over the audience and the only free flying, black red-tailed cockatoo in the United States. Plus, kids can learn fascinating facts about the birds and the habitat in which they live.
“Wild Wings is a fun and educational show that brings a variety of exotic birds face-to-face with park guests,” said Barb Granter, vice president of Bonfante Gardens. “Each performance is unique and ever changing, so guests will want to catch the show more than once this season,” added Granter.
After the show, the audience is invited to “flock” to the stage to learn more about the birds from professional bird trainers.
Wild Wings is performed several times daily and runs through September 6. The show is free with park admission. For more information on Bonfante Gardens’ 2004 season, visit http://www.bonfantegardens.com
