Frasier Exhibit

PARAMOUNT’S GREAT AMERICA HOSTS
EXCLUSIVE FRASIER EXHIBIT

Collection Features Photography, Videos and Props from Eleven-Year Series

Fans of Emmy Award-winning FRASIER can relive moments from the series’ eleven-year network run as part of FRASIER: The Art, The Legacy, The Retrospective, an exclusive, limited engagement exhibit opening at Paramount’s Great America on July 17.

The 4,898 square-foot exhibit inside Paramount’s Great America includes memorable pieces from the set of FRASIER, such as Martin’s infamous, ratty chair, and the well-worn chairs and tables from Café Nervosa. Park guests can also admire paintings, photography, original contemporary artwork, video, installations and graphics that represent the show’s 264-episode history.

Visitors to the exhibit will find:

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • A beautiful homage to Niles, Daphne, Roz and Martin’s past loves.

  • Captured moments of the cast and writers winning the five historical Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK in Frasier Exhibit

  • A caricature artist’s interpretation of Frasier’s loves, which included Jean Smart, Laura Linney and Bebe Neuwirth, among others.

  • A Warhol-like replica of each FRASIER cast member.
  • A special rendition of Eddie, with apologies to renowned “Blue Dog” artist George Rodrigue

VIDEO

  • Flat screen televisions running special looped moments from the past, including
    Extended family and special guests
  • Unforgettable acceptance speeches from the various award ceremonies attended by the cast.

PERFORMANCE ART

  • A live rendition of the infamous tango dance (as performed by Daphne and Niles in the Emmy Award-winning episode “Moondance”).

INSTALLATIONS in Frasier Exhibit

  • A towering display of 31 Emmy Award replicas representing the show’s history-making and record-holding accomplishment.
  • Two10-foot walls covered with the 264 script covers
  • Frasier’s apartment door, number 1901.

The exhibit debuted on May 13, 2004, at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar for a one-night-only exhibit to coincide with the conclusion of FRASIER and was held in the fictional Museum of Contemporary Television Arts.

John Wentworth, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Media Relations, Paramount Television commented, “We wanted to honor the cast, producers, crew and executives for their monumental amount of work over 11 years. With that, we decided to create the FRASIER exhibit, which is thoughtful, poignant, humorous and classy – just like the 264 stellar and award-winning episodes!”

FRASIER: The Art, The Legacy, The Retrospective is free with park admission.
